A Forum for the Open Exchange of Ideas and Experiences
Given the challenges we face and share, we recognized the need to gather, share and organize our ideas and experiences. This event provides a context to do just that and to simultaneously learn more about an area of the United States and a culture that has historically presented and continues to present many peace–related challenges.
Where? Big Bear Farm in Pine Mountain, GA. Just an hour South of Atlanta!
When? March 30th to April 2nd, 2006
Why? To Reflect, Retreat, Reunite and Reinvigorate Yourself
Who? Open to Seasoned and Aspiring Peace Activists, Field Workers & Academics from around the globe
What? Participant Presentations, Campfire Discussions, Conversations with the Local Community & More….
Cost? $150 for 4 days ($25 Non-refundable deposit). Includes food, tent, bedding and a few FUN extras. Note: Participants are responsible for transportation costs.
